Stockholm-based design collective 'Byggstudio' has desgined a pattern for the classic Teema mug by Kaj Frank as a part of the Local Mug Initiative by Iittala.
Byggstudio visited the Arabia factory where the Teema mugs are made and collected scribble, instructions and notes from the production line. In the pattern of the Factory Notes lays the story of the manufacturing and the environment where the mug comes from. You can read more about the pattern in the book Historien om en mugg. Factory Notes mug is available at Iittala store Götgatan 28, shops Konst-ig and Papercut in Stockholm, Sweden.
